Valentines Day is fast approaching and for all you lucky people who get to attend one of the Valentines Masked Balls this year, why not go the full mile and wear a unique masquerade mask designed specifically with romance in mind?
We are able to create you a mask to either match your dress or one in a valentines theme such as a red heart mask or a romantic white mask decorated in gorgeous soft feathers with ribbons and perhaps red or white roses? There are endless possibilities.
Recently, we created our very first Valentines Mask which featured both red hearts and a gorgeous velvet red rose. The mask was made especially for a wedding cake company who used it to sit atop a Valentines Cake. Perfect also for wedding cakes, we could design a mask that would fit in with your theme, especially if it’s a Venetian Masked Ball theme.
The gorgeous cake featured in our top image was created by a local company called Crumblicious. The design was inspired by the mask itself and is featured in their window display.
If you’re not inspired by our red and white theme, then why not take a look at some of our other designs, equally as gorgeous and inspiring!
As Christmas and New Year approaches fast, I know that alot of you out there are wondering what to wear for ‘THE’ party.

Coming up with new ideas for each year’s staff party or regular events can be difficult, but sometimes the smallest attention to detail can give you a huge wow factor.
There is of course the Masked Ball; an exciting and wonderful event that can allow people to relax and socialise more easily, by hiding behind the disguise of their masks. For a company wanting to leave a lasting impression on potential clients, a masquerade mask with your company logo or colours can be a spectacular way of promoting yourselves.
Mont Blanc did exactly that for the the Mayor’s Anuual Charity Ball. The masks in the image opposite were used as centrepieces for each of the 50 tables, also catering for anyone who turned up without a mask. As well as the table masks, they had their own decorative masks made, in the same company colour theme, to wear throughout the night which featured feathered masks, silver & black feathers, gorgeous flowers and diamante.
Imagine a room full of people, the photographs, the publicity, and all promoting your company. As well as the obvious promotions, people also take the masks home as souveniers or to wear at future events so the promotion is continual.
Of course our branded masquerade masks are not just limited to a specific Masked Ball event. Private clubs, business events, product launches and cocktail parties, are all opportunities to have your company noticed with cocktail waiters/waitresses serving your guests wearing your company masks.

Following the popular T.V series such as Gossip Girl and Vampire Diaries, both have recently featured Masked Balls in their story-lines, further increasing the popularity of wearing Masquerade Masks.
As you can see from the video below (a clip from last night’s episode titled ‘Masquerade’), mask styles vary including everything from the more traditional Venetian masks to the latest style in lightweight metal filigree laser cut masks. One of these was worn by the elegant Katherine Pierce, aptly named the ‘Katherine Mask‘ . This gorgeous metal mask, made in Venice, is covered in genuine Swarovski crystals – adding a touch of glamour to an already elegant mask.
What about the men? Mostly wearing the classic Genuine Venetian styles of masks, Damon adds exception by going for a deep black leather masquerade mask. Want something similar? We have a similar style here.
Why Masked Balls? Well quite simply, they invoke a sense of glamour, intrigue, mystery and opulence. What more could you ask for at a party?
Masked balls are a perfect theme for a party – perhaps a special occasion such as an important Birthday party or wedding reception and are also great as fund raisers for charities.
As some of you might be aware, the 1st September, 2010, saw Boris Johnson’s ‘Square Mile Masked Ball‘ being hosted at the Burlington Club to raise money for his charity.
Just over a week before the event, I was asked to create 61 corporate masks for Mont Blanc (who were one of the sponsors at the event) featuring their logo on every mask, and designing individual masks for their main table in a black, white and silver theme. Needless to say, that week was my busiest yet as I also supplied quite a few more masks to some of the other guests.
The image opposite is one of the sample masks we created, but see our Branded Designs page for more images of the ball!
