The popular and raunchy franchise is back – yes, Fifty Shades of Grey now has it’s sequel released in cinemas called ‘Fifty Shades Darker’. Amidst the excitement (especially for us) is the Masked Ball scene, aptly named ‘The Masquerade Ball’ which takes place in the mansion of the Grey family.
The famous mask as worn by Anastasia Steele is a silver lace, dotted with crystals. You can buy our metal version of her mask here which is exactly the same shape and style:-
Elegant, sheer and lightweight, this silver filigree mask is suitable for most face shapes and looks stunning in the light. However, if you love this shape of mask but are not a fan of silver, then we also stock it in black & gold
As for Christian Grey… well we have a number of masks which would be perfect and all made by us from genuine veg tanned leather. For a fuller coverage, we have a classic Venetian Leather Columbina (far left) which is flexible, suitable for all face shapes and has a soft suede inner against the face.
If you prefer less coverage, then we have slim leather eye mask which is also made by us from genuine leather and is comfortable and soft to wear. (left)

For those of you who watched ‘Made In Chelsea’ Season 10’s, Episode 11 ‘New Year’, you may have seen some of our unique designer masks featured in their Black & White Masquerade Masked Ball. We were asked to supply some masks in the black & white theme and decided to offer some up some of our unique designs – ones that you won’t find anywhere else.
We had a few more featured in the background of the show that you may see fleetingly, but the masks below can be seen on the main characters:-
Alik Afus was of course wearing our handcrafted leather mask (would he have chosen anything else!) called the ‘Fausto‘,
Sam Thompson (peeping out behind Alik there) was wearing our ‘Angular Black‘ mask which is a design we have created ourselves
Ollie Locke was wearing our handmade unique black & white ‘Curve’ mask – which is also available in many colour combinations.
Victoria Baker Harber was wearing a special custom French black lace beaded mask we created especially for the show in a Swan shape.
We didn’t supply Louise orBinky’s mask on the show, but this unisex metal filigree eye mask is available on our site to purchase. Binky wore it plain and Louise wore a version with crystals. We can customise this for you with crystals on request. (top image shows Louise wearing it with Alik)
And that isn’t all folks! Remember ‘A Cinderella Story’? Many a youth was spent dreaming about that beautifully delicate white lace eye mask that Hilary Duff sported; now you too can have your own Cinderella moment by indulging in our version of “A Cinderella Story mask”, which has been created by us and is decorated with Swarovski crystals and comes in Ivory, Black, White or Silver. Closer to home, are the ‘Made in Chelsea’ clan who, every year, seem to hold a Masked Ball. This year it was host Mark Francis who’s ‘Black & White Masked Ball’ theme paved the way for a scene of stunning masquerade masks & venetian masks in said colour scheme. Elegant masks of metal filigree laced with Swarovski crystals and hand crafted genuine venetian masks were supplied by us (read the full blog post & links to all masks here)
Back onto the ‘Step Up’ theme, this mask – modelled on the one worn by Camille Gage in “Step Up 3D” – is made of a black veiling which is covered in swarovski crystals and finished with a black trim across the top. This Step Up Mask is made to order and is available by clicking the link on the left image.
