Well, last night I sat down to watch Made in Chelsea in anticipation of the indulgent ‘Black & White Masquerade Ball’, hosted by Mark Francis. The reason why I was especially excited to see this particular episode is that I had been asked to supply some masks for the show.
As always, the theme of Black & White is a popular choice for Masked Balls as it’s easy to style, always looks fabulous and elegant and even the budget masks can look much more exclusive than normal.
Below is a selection of the masks from the show. Some are limited editions so if they aren’t in stock, please do contact us to see if we can make something similar or order one in for you.

If you happen to have read the March edition of ELLE already, you couldn’t fail to have noticed a photo shoot of the stunning Barbara Palvin as a sultry “Dark Angel” (styled by Anne-Marie Curtis). But what really stands out are the metal masks that she is wearing (provided by yours truly!).
Both Metal Filigree Masks; one is our ever popular luxury Vampire Diaries mask in black which undoubtedly adds just the right touch of Gothic Elegance to the shoot, and the luxury white Katherine mask which bequeaths a beautiful contrast to an otherwise deliciously shadowy shot. Both masks looked stunning on Barbara Palvin and credit must go to photographer, Jem Mitchell, for her artful use of light and shade which truly brought these metal filigree masks to life. The close up really showed off the exquisite quality of the mask; they are both beautifully made, being crafted in Venice and adorned with genuine Swarovski crystals for just that touch of decadence. If you want the Dark Angel look, you can purchase the luxury Black Vampire Diaries mask here. £59.99
Last Sunday saw Tulisa perform on stage at Britain’s Got Talent for the start of the Semi-Finals. She performed her song ‘Young’ alongside a team of dancers wearing my masquerade masks.
As some of you might be aware, the 1st September, 2010, saw Boris Johnson’s ‘Square Mile Masked Ball‘ being hosted at the Burlington Club to raise money for his charity.
Just over a week before the event, I was asked to create 61 corporate masks for Mont Blanc (who were one of the sponsors at the event) featuring their logo on every mask, and designing individual masks for their main table in a black, white and silver theme. Needless to say, that week was my busiest yet as I also supplied quite a few more masks to some of the other guests.
The image opposite is one of the sample masks we created, but see our Branded Designs page for more images of the ball!
